Katie West was born an artist and a cowgirl, with an inbred love of horses and the old west.She lives the lifestyle, living on "The Rocking KT Ranch" with her quarter horses and collie dogs. She has shown and has collectors from California to New York, Africa, China, Europe, and Canada. Katie has striven for perfection, driving her to become one of the finest pen and ink artists in America. She is also known for her oils on canvas, watercolors, and her unique process, petrography. This is finest, fine line engraving into granite, crystal and now solid jade. She can hold more detail in granite than anyone in the world.
