Historical Music

Historical music? What exactly is that? As public radio reminds us, "all music was once new." What did Lewis & Clark listen to? What was sung in the missions? What ditties were heard in the mining camps? Isn't it fun to wonder what music Butch Cassidy, Billy the Kid, or Charles Fremont hummed?

Its music based on the stories of the West, as the Black Irish Band sing, or period music like the soundtrack of Horatio's Drive. Included is music performed on period instruments, as the The Dulcimers of Dunlore do.  Its the music of the military bands and the Wild West Shows, music of the mining camps and trains.

And, more is coming ... soon!
