OutWest looks for the unique and handmade by Artisans influenced by the history, landscape and art of the West and Southwest. We are proud to represent two entrepernerial companies based in Arizona - Artistry of Poland and Casa Tranquila Designs. Not just for the holidays, ornaments from these artisans are to be enjoyed year-around.
         
{>} Artistry of Poland offers striking, unique, handcrafted glass ornaments designed in the United States and created by artisans in their workshop in Poland. Attention to detail, exquisite painting, and the variety of subjects are what impressed us about this unique ornament line. They are three dimensional and fully painted on front, back, and sides. If you collect ornaments, or know someone who does, you will want them all!

{>}Artisans Thayer Keller and Cindy Cook-Keller describe their work: "At Casa Tranquila Designs we design and make home decor and wearable art inspired by our Sonoran Desert surroundings. From our Tucson, Arizona base we see desert light that shifts across the mountain ranges and towering thunderhead clouds that ring our valley. These natural elements along with several centuries of Native American and Mexican influence have defined Southwest Style. You will recognize these important influences in our designs."

Working mainly in wood, rusty metal, and paint media, Thayer creates decorative items with a rustic or Southwestern feel.
