We had the pleasure of hearing Carolyn Martin and her "band" (husband Dave Martin) perform live at one our favorite venues, in nearby Altadena, CA - The Coffee Gallery Backstage. Wow! What a night! They traveled in from their home base in Nashville (Southwest misplaced their instruments!) and performed on quickly borrowed instruments from friends with the Western Music Association. I'd been spinning this disc for weeks in the store and couldn't wait to hear her live. We were not disappointed! Smooth, velvety voice. Easy, entertaining banter.

If you like the classics performed Western Swing style - like the music of Rosemary Clooney and Cindy Walker or genres like Western Swing, Jazz, Big Band...you'll want all FOUR of her titles including this one! All are signed by Carolyn. We look forward to hosting a concert at OutWest...maybe next year.
