From the Foreword:
"Courtney Joyner has done it again! Taken fans back to those thrilling days of yesteryear and the heyday of the movie and TV Westerns of the 1950s, '60s, and '70s, when cowboys and cowgirls ruled America's airwaves. Courtney's interviews with some of the movie icons of that Golden Era of the screen Western are enlightening, and his encyclopedic knowledge of Western films and mostly forgotten directors has elicited fascinating stories about the making of some their more important films." ---Miles Swarthout
