With the creation of this line, Scully's looks to their historical roots for inspiration. Here's a bit of their history, shared by President Daniel Scully III, "Starting with the manufacture of fine gloves and jackets, our product line expanded over the years to include luggage, briefcases, agendas, portfolios, wallets, handbags and personal leather goods. Called upon during World Wars I and II, they provided leather flying helmets and pilots’ bomber jackets. Scully’s involvement in historical events, including Admiral Byrd’s expedition to the Antarctic, resulted in the permanent display of several items in both the Smithsonian Institute and the Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington."
