If you've read our local newspaper's article about the Hewitt Family of Serendipity Lights, you know their story. Against all odds, with their backs against the wall, this family perseveres. Their story has inspired many in our town. This bottle was a gift from a gentleman who had it for many years. (On ebay, a similar bottle, with a tad of Jack Daniels, is selling for $600.) Moved by their story, he brought this bottle to them and presented it with the demand that they turn it into a Serendipity Light and sell it. It is his generous contribution. Mark, with a steady hand, drilled successfully and Kari decorated, minimumly as little is needed. The bottle has the original stopper and booklet. Its large and gorgeous - especially when lit.
