Al Shelton loves horses and, in fact, was a cowboy & horse breaker in Colorado and the surrounding states in the 1930's & 1940's. Al has a special gift with horses and was able to tame them for domestic use with good success. In fact, Al did just that for the US Army's Mounted Cavalry, during World War II, through his association with a local rancher.

The above fine art Laser Print is a very pastoral scene and truly demonstrates the fun that one might have with a domesticated horse. Note that there is a nice inscription by the artist painted on the lower center of the work.
