Al Shelton loves horses and, in fact, was a cowboy & horse breaker in Colorado and the surrounding states in the 1930's & 1940's. Al has a special gift with horses and was able to tame them for domestic use with good success. In fact, Al did just that for the US Army's Mounted Cavalry, during World War II, through his association with a local rancher.
