Born in Victoria, British Columbia, Ian Tyson's musical roots are in folk music (as part of the folk duo Ian & Sylvia) and country rock. Know as much for his songwriting talents as his recordings, he is a much sought after performer for Western festivals and events.
Although recorded in the mid 90s, this album is a classic and deserves to be in all Western music libraries. At the time, it was said to be Ian’s most contemporary portrayal of life on the plains. It consists of Tyson originals.
