What an honor it was to have The Cowgirls with us on Friday, August 21, 2009 for our first in-store music and poetry event! We guaranteed you a fun filled evening of great music, poetry, and Western hospitality, and it was! These three gals are all headliners in their own right, and to share an evening with them was magic. We made a special trip up to Mavericks Coffee in Visalia last year to see them, and it was a memorable evening. Who knew then we'd be hosting them just a year later?!

My personal favorites are "I've Got a Weakness for Cowboys,"He's More Than Your Eyes Can See," "'Millie," and "Cowboy Coffee." This CD is included, along with Mavericks coffee, in gift baskets we donate to raise funds for local non-profits.

With her signature vocals, Joni Harms combines cowboy imagery with traditional country music. This talented singer-songwriter brings her life and lifestyle to her music by writing straight from the heart, and sees this album as a self-portrait.
