"16 Great Songs Of The Old West was recorded for Golden Records during the mid 1950s with another vocal group, The Ranch Hands, directed by Mitch Miller (who later went on to great fame himself with his TV series and recordings, "Sing Along With Mitch"). This album is comprised primarily of selections that Roy and Dale sang at the many rodeos where they performed.

Most of these songs have been around since the days of trail herding cowboys.
