Sons Of The San Joaquin consists of brothers Joe and Jack Hannah and Joe's son Lon. Schoolteachers and coaches by trade, they were "discovered" at the Cowboy Poetry Gathering in 1989, where their astonishing voices and their collection of under-rcorded Bob Nolan and Tim Spencer songs-compositins that had been collecting dust for decades - made them a sensation. After cutting two albums filled with these undiscovered classics, they began writing distinctive western songs of their own.
