About the Authors:
Alan Rockman has been a Civil War buff for as long as he can remember. Born on the Fourth of July in Scranton, Pennsylvania, less than a hundred miles from the Gettysburg battlefield, Mr. Rockman is an active member of California's Inland Empire Civil War Roundtable and is a frequent speaker at Civil War Conferences.
Gina Capaldi studied fine arts at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and illustration at the College of Design in Pasadena. She has illustrated a variety of children's books and has won numerous art awards. Gina currently teaches cultural art at California State Polytechnic University in Ponoma.
