About the Author
Texas
native, cook extraordinaire, culinary historian, computer expert, and a
feisty grandmother, Carol Blakely of Dallas is a serious "foodie" and a
cookbook collector. A former systems consultant for a software company,
Carol shares her love of cooking with her retired military husband,
Ralph, their three adult children, and five grandchildren. She also runs
The JalapeƱo Café, a website with monthly recipe updates and a cooking
newsletter with subscribers from around the world. Her favorite type of
cuisine is Southwestern.
