This story is an epic Western tale about the West family and their life-threatening struggles to keep their ranch from being stolen by the evil town ruling Poindexter. During Kurt West's youth, the family befriends many people from various cultures and religions. These individuals are instrumental in the battle against the hired gun-hands of Poindexter.
A central character, Father Torres, is a priest in the nearby village who assisted the Wests by sending reliable ranch hands, builders, and workman to live and work at Wet Springs Ranch. Kurt, at an early age, saves a kitten and filly that become bonded to him. Young Kurt is not a weakling; he becomes a pistolero and saves his father from attacking rustlers. The story of his honest courage and fame as a child gunfighter, against insurmountable odds, continues to spread. Later, as a teenager, Kurt falls in love with the stepdaughter of their enemy, Pointdexter.
How the West's overcome the ruthless attacks of Poindexter and his crew is the culmination of this fast moving and unique saga.
Fight for Wet Springs is a story of the Wests and their struggle to save their land. It is a story of races coming together to fight for justice. It is a story of love and hope, and the many individuals who stand together for what is right.
