From our Purveyor of Native American Art:
Another wonderful example of Edith John's whimsical work. Her birds, whether they are chickens, crows, owls, or turkeys have so much spirit you'll feel like they are talking to you. How does she get so much animation in her figures? I don't know but I always look forward to unpacking a new shipment because each one of her pieces is so happy to get unwrapped and gazed upon. Each has it's own personality and sometimes it's hard for me to see them go off with a new owner.
Small Standing Owl is wise and wonderful. His yellow rimmed eyes and beak stand out against a red body with feather stroke details. Ideal partner to the
XSmall Owls,
{>}style #9865. From bottom of the base to his peak is just shy of 8".
See the Owl Group Shot for the size ratio.
Why buy an import when you can have the real thing from an acclaimed Navajo Native American folk artist?
