Here are we during the 2016 Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival! Photo on L was a group shot of our author participants in the Buckaroo Book Shop on Sutler's Row located on the grounds of the William S. Hart Park.  Within a short walk, at OutWest, John Bergstrom and Andria Kidd performed live music and poetry at OutWest Boutique and Cultural Center, 22508 6th St, Newhall.

The Buckaroo Book Shop is located inside the historic home of lawman Ed Pardee, now located at Heritage Junction Historic Park. Built by noted prohibitionist Henry Clay Needham in 1890, it was originally a Good Templars Hall. Pardee purchased it in 1893 and converted to a family home. The home's history connects to Tom Mix, the Pacific Telephone Company, the Boys and Girls Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and the SCV Historical Society! Click here for more on Ed Pardee.
