Darryl Willison

Americas Drawing Cowboy is a full time artist living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Darryl is married with two young daugthers.

Darryl's travels have taken him from Oklahoma and Texas as a child to across the country and back again as an adult. Much of the country he has seen has been a source of his inspiration. Darryl was greatly influenced by his mother's work – in painting, silk screening, and serigraphs. The Ed Taller Gallery in Austin showcased Darryls' earlier work after he decided to pursue art full time as opposed to attending college. Today he is represented by many galleries including his own, Art Gallery 66. Darryl says, "I am the creator of my own unique style and am very fortunate to have been given this opportunity to stand alone in my own category. Today I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and love the dry climate, big open skies, and the color and flavor that only the West can provide, especially for my imagination."
