Eli 'Pard PageMeet Eli Barsi
Canada’s Cowgirl
“The Road to home is paved with love.”

From our Purveyor of Music and Poetry:
What an honor it is to have Eli Barsi and her husband, John, with us Friday, May 28 at 7:00 pm. We guarantee you a fun filled evening of great music, poetry, and Western hospitality. Eli performed with pals Joni Harms and Doris Daley last August for our inaugural Music OutWest Presents evening, we delighted to welcome good friend Eli back again!

Local singer/songwriter, John Bergstrom, will be opening for Eli. Come on down!

Eli was raised on a farm in south-eastern Saskatchewan Canada. She has always loved the country life and credits her roots and upbringing of “hard work pays off" for her long lasting music career. Eli’s passion and love for music came very early in life, and she knew then that this ambition would be a lifelong mission. Throughout the years she has continuously grown as an artist, covering new ground with each step and is consistent in giving her very best in every facet of the business.

It was once said that “versatility is a virtue” and this certainly rings true when you look at this recording artist’s talents. Eli’s style of music varies from Western Roots, Gospel, Bluegrass, New Country, & Folk which she delivers with equal proficiency. She is a singer, songwriter, western yodeler, musician (guitar and mandolin), and entertainer with an exceptional stage presence. Eli has had many charting radio singles in Canada, released 9 CDs, 3 CMT videos, is the recipient of awards on both sides of the border, and has performed concerts throughout North America for the past decade.

After a few years of non stop shows, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. She was hired to perform with the legendary Sons of the Pioneers in 2002, and since then she has been based out of Branson, Missouri. With a three, four, or five piece band or on stage alone with her guitar, Eli is a crowd pleaser. On California stages, she has performed at {>}Mavericks Coffee & Roasting House, Coffee Gallery, Monterey Cowboy Festival, Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival, and at the Golden Boot Awards.

2006 was a banner year for Ms. Barsi as she received two prestigious awards. The American Academy of Western Artists recognized her as winner of the Will Rogers Award –Female Vocalist for 2006. The Western Music Association named her winner of the Crescendo Award for New Artist.

OutWest is delighted to bring Eli Barsi to you. We have heard her in concert several times and hope you will enjoy her music as much as we do!
