About Terry Brown
Born and raised on a farm/ranch in Gracemont, Oklahoma, Terry Brown is a cowboy!
Terry spent most of his adult life in Nashville, TN., singin', writin, and tourin'. After 26 years and over 70 songs cut by other artists Terry has numerous awards, nominations and chart topping hits.
Terry is married to Cowgirl Hall of Fame Nominee, and World Famous Trick & Fancy Roper, Hilda Machado. Currently, Terry and his wife are in development with a feature film based on Terry's song Silver Spur, which won Song of the Year honors from the Academy of Western Artists in 2000.
Terry believes bein' a cowboy is a decision. It's the way you look at life. A philosophy. A cowboy always does what's right, defends those that can't defend themselves and puts his responsibilities (his herd/family) ahead of himself.
You don't have to ride a horse or wear a hat to do that. It doesn't matter where you live, New York City, Tokyo, Japan, or the biggest ranch in Texas. If you live by the code you've earned the right. Terry thinks you'll like bein' a cowboy.
